Reflections from Karamoja in Prioritizing Peace, Water, and Agriculture

{{brizy_dc_image_alt entityId=

My final activity today was a meeting with the leaders of the Karamoja Subregion in Moroto. I listened attentively to all their points in the Memorandum. Karamoja needs to prioritize peace and access to water before addressing other issues. I emphasize the importance of agriculture because it can provide employment for many people, allowing everyone to participate. This is why the NRM consistently advocates for integrated planning. Tomorrow I will address a rally in Kotido as I wind up my tour of the subregion .
