Uganda Prepares to Host 2025 Extraordinary Agricultural Summit

Uganda Prepares to Host 2025 Extraordinary Agricultural Summit:

This afternoon, I welcomed H.E. Ambassador Josefa Sacko from the African Union, who briefed me on the desire for Uganda to host the 2025 Extraordinary Agricultural Summit in Kampala.

We're ready to showcase Africa’s agricultural potential! Uganda's rich indigenous heritage in farming forms a strong foundation for modernization and commercialization. I, therefore, welcome this summit, which allows Africans to reconnect with our roots and nurture our agriculture for food security and prosperity.
