A significant gathering has convened at Sembabule Playgrounds to await the arrival of His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, and the Honorable Janet Kataaha Museveni, First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports.
The President and First Lady are scheduled to address the assembly following the official inauguration of the newly constructed Sembabule Archdeaconry Church and a subsequent prayer service.
The multi-billion-shilling church, a project facilitated by the Honorable Sam Kuteesa, National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson for Sembabule District, represents a substantial contribution to the region's Christian community. 1 The event has drawn a considerable number of residents from Sembabule and adjacent districts.
