My message to the people of Kisoro, while campaigning for Ms. Rose Kabagyeni, who is the NRM flag bearer for the Woman Member of Parliament by-election, is to eliminate divisions based on religion. We must embrace unity, togetherness, and peace for the benefit of both the district and the country. I had heard about the religious divisions in Kisoro. I spoke with Mzee Mateke, Bishop Rev. Mbitse, and Bishop Bubaramira, urging them to reject any form of conflict and not to accept any poison in Kisoro.
