President Museveni is pleased with the progress of the Atiak Sugar factory in Amuru district as part of our economic re-organization efforts. He thanked leaders like Hon. Norbert Mao and the family of Mzee John Omaya for standing up for development in the area, despite opposition. The President intervened in the matter because we've learned to combat divisive tactics based on misinformation.
