President Museveni recently welcomed Muslim brothers and sisters to an Iftar dinner at state house . During the gathering, he was delighted to hear some young people not only quoting but also explaining teachings from the Quran. He observed many similarities between the Quran and the Bible.

Expressing his appreciation, the president remarked, "I'm glad to see progress among religious groups, including Muslims, in rectifying past misunderstandings. For example, the outdated belief from the 1950s and 1960s that one doesn't need to work if they're religious, as they believe God will provide for them."
