We have started optimising the transport system. The revived economy has led to an increase in the number of cars on our roads, which cannot effectively handle the resulting pressure. We have various types of cargo—dry, wet, petroleum products—and passenger traffic, all competing for space on the roads. I am pleased that we are progressing on the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), which will extend from Malaba to Kampala and onward to Packwach and Kasese. Additionally, we will continue to enhance our water transport systems. We have just begun, and we will keep improving.
