Yesterday, Ambassador Adonia Ayebare briefed me on the progress of Uganda's Chairmanship of the G77+China, eight months since we assumed office. I thank him for representing the Global South well, especially in leading the conversations around climate change and the conclusion of the Pact for the Future. I also received a message from the UN Secretary-General, His Excellency Antonio Guterres.
