Honoring The Service and Retirement of Army Generals and Support for Wounded Soldiers

Yesterday, I presided over the retirement ceremony of Army Generals Silver Kayemba, Charles Kisembo, Godard Busingye, Fred Karara, and CA Kasaija. Their service to our country has been invaluable. We worked hard to ensure that our soldiers retire with a good package. In line with this commitment, we established a casualty unit in Mubende. It is essential that soldiers who have been injured or disabled while serving in the army are not left in vulnerable situations upon their return to their villages, especially considering the low salaries they receive.
