In Greater Kibale, we honor the brave war veterans of the NRA who sacrificed for our nation's freedom. Recently, we gathered with civilian veterans from the Birembo War Contact Group Association to celebrate their crucial role in Uganda's history. Birembo holds special significance as a place where NRA fighters clashed with the government in January 1985, marking a pivotal moment in our liberation struggle.
