From Piglets to Prosperity, Mr. Kutosi’s PDM Success Story

I spent the day in Bugisu sub-region visiting different farmers. The first was Mr. Kutosi Moses from Bududa district. In 2023, Kutosi received Shs. 980,000 from the PDM fund and purchased 3 pigs, which gave birth to 9 piglets. He sold 5 piglets for Shs. 100,000 each, earning Shs. 500,000. Kutosi then bought a heifer that produces 4 liters of milk daily, generating Shs. 4,000 per day. I'm pleased with Kutosi for his hard work using the PDM funds he received.
