From Conflict to Progress Strengthening Communities Through PDM and Economic Empowerment

At a rally in Maluku Housing Estate, Mbale City, it was reassuring to be there peacefully, recalling the confrontation with Amin’s soldiers 51 years ago that cost us some dear comrades. Regarding PDM, we must move forward decisively. Each parish will receive 100 million annually, totalling 500 million over five years. With additional funds returned by beneficiaries, this will reach 800 million. Community members must protect this money diligently, as it enables the parish bank to support locals and reduce reliance on moneylenders.
