Empowering Youth Leaders on The Key Role of Wealth Creation in Combating Unemployment

Yesterday, I had a productive meeting in Entebbe with youth leaders brought to me by Col. Edith Nakalema. I emphasized the importance of engaging in wealth creation to combat unemployment effectively. The source of jobs lies in wealth creation, not solely in waiting for government positions. The government has only 470,000 jobs in the Public Service. I also highlighted the distinction between development and wealth creation. Development, like roads, electricity, piped water, schools, and health centres, belongs to everybody. We always advise that what comes to the home is wealth, not development. When there's service provision like security in the country, the next important thing is wealth creation in your home.
