Maama Janet and I extend a warm welcome to H.E. Hailemariam Desalegn, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, along with the other Heads of delegation at the three-day Ateker Reunion Festival, which commenced today in Soroti City. We also welcome Their Highnesses, the cultural leaders of Uganda, and everyone else who has joined us. I am glad that some individuals within the Ateker Communities of the Great Lakes and the Horn of Africa have finally recognised and begun to appreciate what God did long ago. The Bible, specifically in the book of Acts 17:26-27, says that God created different peoples in the world and designated specific parts of the world for each group to inhabit, with defined boundaries.
