I was happy to see the new Lokiriama Peace Accord promoting collaboration between the Karamojong of Uganda and the Turkana of Kenya. Such cooperation and dialogue are essential in fostering lasting peace in the region. I will visit the region to discuss their critical challenges, particularly water, education, and infrastructure.
