A New Dawn for Karamoja in Embracing Peace and Development
As I wound up my tour of the Karamoja subregion at a rally in Lomukura, Kotido, I thanked the Karimojong for rejecting cattle rustling and embracing peace—a crucial step for the region’s development. The peace now established in Karamoja is a significant victory! This peace has paved the way for progress through the Parish Development Model. Beneficiaries like Ijara from Serere and Alir from Abim are living proof that these initiatives are transforming lives.
