This morning, I engaged with journalists from the Bugisu sub-region at the State Lodge in Mbale. During our conversation, I emphasised the importance of everyone—including the media participating in the government’s wealth creation programmes. On a lighter note, I took the opportunity to recount the historic events surrounding our narrow escape from Amin's army in Maluku Estate. The memories from that day, 51 years ago, are still vivid in my mind.
