Celebrating Uganda's Census Results

Today, I received the early results of the 2024 National Population & Housing Census at the Serena Hotel. I commend the Uganda Bureau of Statistics for successfully completing this important survey. While these results are preliminary, they affirm the effectiveness of the NRM strategy. I also applaud Ugandans for heeding our advice and participating in our programs.

It's crucial to address medical and socio-economic issues for our nation's progress. This is how we can create a better Uganda! Achieving a life expectancy of 63 years reflects the positive impact of NRM programs, with more people now engaging in the formal economy.
