Achieving SDGs through Social and Economic Change

At the end of the 3rd Annual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) conference at Speke Resort Munyonyo, I emphasized that achieving SDGs requires social and economic transformation.

For this transformation, we need strong infrastructure like railways, roads, and electricity. Programs like the PDM should also support this change.

Concerning the environment, people living in wetlands should leave peacefully. NEMA should collaborate with local governments to enforce rules against wetland encroachment.
