My second day in Bukedi started with a good interaction with journalists from the region. I emphasised the critical role of Local Council (LC) leaders in monitoring and supervising government programs, particularly the Parish Development Model (PDM). Regarding the accountability of PDM money, I must remind Ugandans that local leaders are elected to represent the interests of the people and ensure that public funds are used appropriately.
