Yesterday, I lectured visiting military officers from the Bangladesh National Defence College at State House Entebbe, where I pointed out the primary challenge facing our continent: the misguided ideology of identity politics rooted in tribe, religion, and gender.

This misdiagnosis distracts us from addressing the real issues at hand. I, therefore, used the opportunity to inform them of our three historical missions for Africa: prosperity for the people, strategic security and taking advantage of our brotherhood(Undungu). I welcome them to Uganda and wish them good luck.
