Following a highly productive 10-day retreat, the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) convened a confidential meeting with the highest-ranking party officials to provide comprehensive insights and reinforcement.

During this meeting, His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni underscored the crucial importance of advancing socioeconomic transformation as a pivotal agenda for the party and the nation at large. He reiterated the significance of steering Uganda towards comprehensive development, where economic progress and societal well-being go hand in hand.

Furthermore, Mzee acknowledged and lauded the widespread endeavours undertaken by the Office of the NRM Chairman (ONC), particularly highlighting the impactful #TovaKuMain2026 initiative. This recognition served as a testament to the dedicated efforts and widespread engagement of the party members and supporters across the country.

In his address, Mzee extended his wholehearted encouragement to the younger generation, affectionately referred to as the "Bazzukulu," to persistently drive forward the objectives of the #TovaKuMain2026 campaign. He emphasized that their enthusiasm, energy, and commitment were indispensable forces in propelling the party's vision and goals to fruition.
