Special International Labour Day Message To the Youth of Uganda by Hajati Hadijah Namyalo

Happy International Labour Day to the vibrant and dynamic youth of Uganda.Today, we celebrate your contributions to our nation's growth and development. I acknowledge over 70% of Ugandans are young people, making up the majority of the working class and the unemployed. I honestly appreciate President Museveni's initiatives to empower you through various programs, such as the provision of industrial tools aimed at creating jobs and combating poverty.

I recognize your love and support for President Museveni and the NRM Government as well as your collaboration with the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) to fight corruption and empower the youth and women of Uganda. Be assured that ONC will continue to reach out to you for empowerment, capacity building, and opportunities for a brighter future. Let us work together to build a prosperous Uganda for all. Don't be diverted by self seeking members of the society. Let us work closely with our dear Leader Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
