The Office of the National Chairman (ONC), led by Senior Presidential Advisor Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, popularly known as Chief Muzzukulu, has distributed seeds and fertilizers to farmers at Maddu Town Council Playgrounds ahead of the upcoming planting season.
The initiative is aimed at supporting farmers with essential agricultural inputs to help them prepare for the new season, improve production and strengthen household incomes.
Namyalo said supporting farmers with quality seeds and fertilizers is important in enabling communities to increase agricultural productivity and make farming a more reliable source of income.
The distribution also forms part of ONC’s wider grassroots empowerment efforts, with a focus on helping ordinary Ugandans access practical tools and resources that can improve their livelihoods.
Farmers gathered at Maddu Town Council Playgrounds to receive the agricultural inputs as they prepare their gardens for planting.
Namyalo encouraged beneficiaries to make proper use of the seeds and fertilizers and focus on productive farming that can provide food for their families while generating income from surplus produce.
The initiative comes as farmers prepare for the planting season and follows continued calls for improved access to affordable and quality agricultural inputs across the country.
