I was in Gomba district today to attend the thanksgiving of Mr. Yiga Wamala (Kisakyamukama), whose commitment to fighting corruption and standing for the truth is commendable. His journey from poverty to success is a testament to the NRM's fight against poverty in Uganda. While addressing the gathering, I emphasised our commitment to wealth creation, using the 4-acre model for households with small landholdings. We shall support the youth in Gomba district with livestock and tractors to boost agricultural mechanisation, as well as Shs 100 million to empower women’s SACCOs.
