Seek ye first homestead income; the rest will be added unto you; that is the message I left with the leaders of Greater Mubende this afternoon at Kasanda. While I take note of the development issues they raised, it is important that we focus on improving homestead incomes. I thank the Catholic parishes of Kasanda and Busunju, as well as some of the other churches, like the Church of Uganda dioceses in Ankole. They have encouraged people to produce enough food at home while also ensuring they have something for their pockets. By doing this, all these other development needs will come and find us, making it easier to accomplish them.
