Strengthening Ties and Agro-Industry Dutch Investment Boosts Uganda’s Agro-Processing Sector

Our diplomatic relations with the Netherlands are showing great promise in terms of collaboration to address important issues. On the sidelines of the PDM tour, I welcomed De Heus, a Dutch company that is investing in and enhancing our agro-processing efforts. By establishing factories for fish, poultry, and livestock feed, their estimated investment of 49 million euros not only boosts our economy but also helps us address environmental pressures. I am pleased to hear that they are committed to maintaining the integrity of our culture and ensuring animal health through differentiated feed composition for various animals.
