President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today welcomed a delegation from Al Mansour Holdings at State House, Entebbe. The delegation was led by Mr. Umar Bchinnati, who delivered a message from Sheikh Mansour bin Jabor.
During the meeting, President Museveni and the delegation discussed opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation between Uganda and Qatar, with a particular focus on value addition and industrial investment. The discussions covered key sectors including fruit processing, starch production, coffee, pharmaceuticals, energy, and logistics.
President Museveni emphasized that Uganda offers abundant natural resources, a growing market, and a capable workforce, making the country an attractive destination for investment. He noted that strategic partnerships that bring capital, modern technology, and equipment are essential for accelerating industrialization, creating employment opportunities, and driving sustainable economic transformation.
The President welcomed the proposed collaboration and expressed Uganda's commitment to deepening bilateral relations with Qatar through mutually beneficial investments that support the country's development agenda.
