President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today hosted the Rt Hon Baroness Chapman, the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for International Development and Africa, at State House Entebbe.
During their meeting, President Museveni and Baroness Chapman held discussions on strengthening the longstanding partnership between Uganda and the United Kingdom, with a particular focus on expanding investment opportunities and enhancing economic cooperation.
President Museveni encouraged British and other European investors to take greater interest in investing in Africa, noting that the continent offers immense opportunities for economic growth, trade, industrial development, and shared prosperity.
The President welcomed Baroness Chapman to Uganda and expressed confidence that continued collaboration between the two countries will deepen their strategic partnership and promote mutually beneficial development.
