Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs: A Success Story from Kyankwanzi District

Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs A Success Story from Kyankwanzi District

My tour started in Kyankwanzi District, visiting Patrick Matovu, a PDM beneficiary who has established a local chicken poultry farm. I am glad he has made good use of the funds and improved his household income, as well as mobilized his fellow beneficiaries. If all PDM beneficiaries adhere to the fund's management guidelines and start to repay their loans by the second year, the fund will have a significant resource envelope of about 800 million shillings per parish. On the issue of corruption, I implore the wananchi to be vigilant and always report these thieves. We shall deal with those officials involved; their time is running out.
