President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today received H.E. Téte António, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, at Kisozi Farm. The Angolan envoy delivered a special message from H.E. President João Lourenço.
During their meeting, President Museveni and the visiting minister discussed matters of mutual interest, including Angola’s nomination of Josefa Sacko for the position of Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
President Museveni expressed Uganda’s support for Angola’s candidature, emphasizing the importance of African unity and cooperation in advancing the continent’s shared interests.
The President noted that African nations must continue standing together and supporting one another on issues of strategic importance, stressing that collective action strengthens Africa’s voice and influence on the global stage.
