President Museveni Launches NRM Manifesto for 2026–2031: A Vision for Peace, Prosperity, and Transformation

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, alongside Maama Janet, proudly launched the NRM party manifesto for the 2026–2031 term. The manifesto reflects the NRM's unwavering commitment to Uganda’s liberation, particularly during the critical period from 1965 to 1986—a time when the party’s leaders risked everything to free the nation from dictatorship and chaos.

The hallmark of the NRM’s legacy has been the peace and security that Ugandans now enjoy, achieved through the dedication of the people of Uganda—the wanainchi—and the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).

Looking forward, President Museveni emphasises the three pillars of Uganda’s transformation: development, infrastructure, and wealth creation. With 40 million acres of arable land, the country holds the potential to generate over 105 million jobs. By harnessing these resources strategically, Uganda can provide abundant employment opportunities and drive sustainable growth at home.   Full detailed manifesto
