President Museveni Inaugurates New Factories at Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park

President Yoweri Museveni visited the Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park to inaugurate newly completed factories and lay the foundation stone for upcoming projects. He expressed appreciation to Mr. Paul Zhang and his team for their dedication and assured them of his full support in advancing the park’s development.

President Museveni emphasized the importance of visionary leadership in driving national progress. He noted that a lack of vision is a key reason for stagnation in countries. From the outset, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) has maintained a clear goal: to create wealth through four strategic sectors—commercial agriculture, industry, services, and ICT. Among these, the industrial and services sectors are particularly crucial, as they generate the highest number of jobs globally and play a central role in modernizing the economy.
