President Museveni commissioned the $23.8 million Aga Khan University in Nakawa and officially launched the groundbreaking for the upcoming Aga Khan Teaching Hospital.

He extended appreciation to His Highness the Aga Khan and the Aga Khan Development Agency for their invaluable investments in Uganda, which continue to positively impact various sectors of the economy.

As part of this joint venture, the Government of Uganda provided the land, and President Museveni reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enacting strong legislation that safeguards investors, strengthens the private sector, and drives sustainable economic growth.
