Championing Fair Labour Practices and Addressing Wage, Employment, and Local Talent Challenges

We will tackle minimum wage issues, the tripartite arrangement, and casual labour, as well as scrutinise employment agencies that exploit workers by acting as intermediaries between them and employers. Our approach will be consultative and rational. We will also scrutinise institutions that have historically prioritised foreign labour over local talent. Why should foreign companies import their own workers when Ugandans are capable of performing these jobs? We must face these challenges as they are and engage with the sector more realistically. I wish all the workers a Happy Labour Day. Alakara Noi!
