Finally, I am happy to witness young entrepreneurs like Harriet Nampa from Mukono benefiting from the PDM program. At just 37 years old, Harriet initially expressed reservations about accepting 1 million UGX due to concerns over repayment, opting for 500,000 UGX instead. This investment proved fruitful, growing to approximately 4 million through her successful venture in the piggery business. Additionally, she has expanded her operations into dairy farming. Our decision to provide PDM funding directly to individuals has yielded positive results, and I am encouraged to hear that the PDM officials in this region demonstrate integrity and professionalism. We will continue to support all these PDM beneficiaries in their efforts to grow further.
