Later, I met with the Rt. Hon. Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti, the sitting President of the Forum of Parliaments of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia. Rt. Hon. Anita Among introduced her and her delegation to me. We extensively discussed the issues facing the Great Lakes region, particularly in DRC, and explored possible solutions. It is sabotage for the entire continent to fail to resolve the challenges in our region.
