The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Mobilization Team, led by Deputy Head Mr. Kalema George William, is finalizing preparations for a major empowerment event at Simu Primary School in Bulambuli District.
Scheduled for today, Sunday, July 6, 2025, the outreach will be led by ONC Manager and Senior Presidential Advisor, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, who has already arrived in the district.
The ONC team, along with Bugisu Subregion Coordinators and grassroots mobilizers, is holding a high-level coordination meeting to finalize the list of beneficiaries. This effort is aimed at ensuring the smooth and effective distribution of support tools, in line with ONC’s national strategy for socio-economic transformation.
Mr. Kalema emphasized that the initiative reflects President Yoweri Museveni’s message on wealth creation under the “Tova Ku Main” campaign. He urged residents to attend in large numbers and take advantage of this life-changing opportunity.
Hajjat Namyalo will oversee the distribution of various capital tools and vocational equipment, including salon kits, welding machines, sewing machines, brick-making kits, car-wash machines, and agricultural inputs. These items are intended to boost self-reliance and help beneficiaries generate sustainable income.
The program is primarily targeting vulnerable groups such as youth, women, the urban poor, and subsistence farmers.
Through this initiative, the ONC, under the leadership of Hajjat Namyalo, continues to promote President Museveni’s “Musevenomics” approach — fighting poverty through hands-on empowerment and enterprise development in grassroots communities across Uganda.
