President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni this morning received Mr. Floribert Anzuluni Isiloketshi, the Special Envoy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), at his Kisozi Farm for discussions on issues of mutual interest.
The meeting focused on the security situation in eastern DRC and the importance of strengthening regional cooperation to promote lasting peace and stability.
President Museveni emphasized that peace and security across the region are critical to the prosperity and well-being of the people of both countries. He noted that Uganda will continue working closely with the Democratic Republic of Congo and other regional partners to address the security challenges affecting eastern DRC and foster sustainable development across the region.
