Hajjat Namyalo Spreads President Museveni’s Blessings to Muslim Communities

On the second day of the Eid Al-Adha donation campaign, the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) continued to share food and cows with Muslim communities across Uganda. The campaign is led by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the ONC Manager and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, on behalf of President Yoweri Museveni.

The day began at Masjid Hidaaya in Banda, Nakawa Division, where Hajjat Namyalo donated a cow, rice, posho, and sugar. The mosque chairman, Muhamood Bukenya, thanked ONC and said the donations would help many families enjoy Eid celebrations.

Next, she visited Masjid Noor Seeta UMEA in Mukono District, where she donated another cow and food items. She also promised to personally support the completion of the mosque building, bringing smiles and cheers from the worshippers.

The campaign continued to Masjid Taqwa in Zirobwe, Luwero District, where Hajjat Namyalo was welcomed by top district Muslim leaders. Once again, she delivered a cow and food supplies to support the community.

The last stop was Masjid Saeed Al Majdour in Kasangati, where she offered similar support, receiving a warm welcome and heartfelt appreciation from the faithful.

This follows a successful Day 1 of the campaign, which included visits to mosques in Kisenyi, Kibuli, Kawempe, Nansana, and Masajja.

Eid Al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” reminds Muslims of Prophet Ibrahim’s faith and the importance of giving, unity, and compassion. It’s a time when animals are slaughtered, and the meat is shared with family, friends, and the needy.

Speaking at the events, Hajjat Namyalo said all donations were made on behalf of President Museveni, whom she lovingly referred to as "Jajja" (grandfather) to the Bazzukulu (grandchildren).

“The President sends his love and Eid greetings to all Muslims,” she said. “We want every Muslim in Uganda to celebrate Eid with joy and dignity.”

She also encouraged communities to reflect on the values of Eid and to take part in the President’s call for job creation and wealth building as a way to improve lives.

Hajjat Namyalo promised that ONC will continue with these Eid donations in more areas, showing the government’s commitment to supporting and uplifting all communities during important religious celebrations.
