Shining Examples of Christian Life by Empowering Women to Illuminate Their Communities

{{brizy_dc_image_alt entityId=

At the close of the Mother’s Union Buganda conference at Timnah Schools in Luwero yesterday, I commended the women for being true Christians who understand all four dimensions of the Christian life, as exemplified by Jesus: preaching the gospel, working hard, healing the sick, and feeding the hungry.

The Bible says, "Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). You cannot be a shining light in your village when you’re poor. Therefore, this is indeed the mission of Christians; they should be examples in everything, including the welfare of our families.
