Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Graces Uganda Forces Iftar Dinner in Kampala

he Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Manager, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, on Wednesday evening attended the Uganda Forces Iftar Dinner held in Kampala. The event brought together members of the security forces, Muslim faithful, and representatives from the diplomatic community for a shared moment of prayer and the breaking of the Ramadan fast.

A key highlight of the evening was a Quran recitation competition featuring participants from the Uganda People’s Defence Forces, Uganda Police Force, and Uganda Prisons Service. The competition showcased exceptional talent and dedication, reflecting the deep spiritual commitment within the security institutions.

In recognition of outstanding performance, Hajjat Namyalo awarded UGX 1 million to each of the winners from the three participating forces as a token of appreciation for their excellence in Quran recitation.

She further commended the organisers of the Uganda Forces Iftar Dinner for fostering unity and collaboration between the security services and the Muslim community. She noted that such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening faith, promoting cohesion, and honoring the dedication and sacrifice of men and women in uniform.
