Ramadan Reflections on Faith, Work, and African Unity

Ramadan Reflections on Faith, Work, and African Unity

I congratulate the Muslim community on making it this far in Ramadan. We have only a few days left, and I pray that the Good Lord keeps us strong until the end. As Africans, we have historically lacked a unified perspective, which has led to many challenges. I believe some people have confused religion with culture, missing out on important aspects of our traditional way of life. The young man quoted scripture from the Qur'an, emphasising that one should not spend the entire day in the mosque but should work after prayers. He advised that instead of merely praying for financial support, people should take the initiative to go out and earn it. I completely agree with his perspective.
