The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has visited Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi ahead of the upcoming Muslim Inter-University Games.
During the meeting, the two discussed youth empowerment and the important role universities can play in preparing young people to become productive and economically independent after completing their studies.
Prof. Muhwezi commended Namyalo for her continued efforts to empower young Ugandans, particularly through initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, skills development and self-reliance.

He noted that these efforts closely align with MUBS's mission of producing graduates who are not only academically prepared but also capable of creating opportunities for themselves and contributing to Uganda's economic development.
Namyalo reaffirmed her commitment to supporting young people, commonly referred to as the Bazzukulu, and encouraging them to take advantage of available opportunities to improve their livelihoods.
The visit comes ahead of the Muslim Inter-University Games, which will bring together students from different universities through sport while promoting unity, interaction and talent development among young people.
