Strengthening Ties as Uganda and Japan’s Partnership Delivers Kampala Flyover

The friendship between Uganda and Japan has led to another improvement in our economy. At the ceremony to hand over the finished Kampala flyover (Lot1), I urged KCCA, the group in charge of maintaining this and other city projects, to work well with the public. It’s important to get everyone involved in keeping the city clean and stopping bad habits like throwing trash and littering the city, which blocks the drainage system. I congratulate Ugandans on this milestone.
