While meeting the leaders of the Bugisu Sub Region in Bulambuli District, I emphasised the importance of supporting the community in generating household income drawing on examples from the recent PDM tour. Since the country stabilised in 1995, the focus has been on household income, prioritisation, and addressing key issues. Without effective prioritisation, progress is hindered; attempting to move all steps in the same direction will lead to stagnation.
