President Museveni meets with ONC Manager and Regional Coordinators to Discuss youth Empowerment Initiatives

Yesterday, H.E President Yoweri Museveni, the National Chairman of the NRM, met with the team from the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), led by the Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye. The meeting, which included Regional Coordinators from the ONC, focused on advancing the youth empowerment program and addressing various issues affecting young people in Uganda.

During the discussions, President Museveni emphasized the importance of empowering youth as a vital component of the nation’s development strategy. The President and the ONC team explored several initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and opportunities available to young Ugandans, thereby promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye highlighted the ONC's ongoing efforts to implement innovative programs that provide training, mentorship, and support to young entrepreneurs across the country. The Regional Coordinators also shared insights from their respective areas, bringing attention to the unique challenges and opportunities present in different regions.

President Museveni commended the ONC team for their dedication and urged them to continue working closely with local communities to ensure the success of these initiatives. He reiterated the government's commitment to supporting youth empowerment programs that align with the broader goals of national development.

Friday's meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening collaboration between the ONC, local leaders, and various stakeholders to foster an environment conducive to youth empowerment and development.
