A Path to Prosperity, Embracing Government Programs and Unity in Kigezi

This evening, I addressed a rally in Rukiga District urging families in the Kigezi sub-region to take advantage of the government programs like PDM and Emyooga and stop focusing on non-income generating activities if they want to get out of poverty. Education is key & every child must be in school for a secure future. The people of the region should also keep their land together to ensure prosperity instead of the curse of land fragmentation. I urged them to consider forming family companies to better manage their family wealth and share the proceeds instead of dividing the property itself.
