The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, joined the Algerian Embassy in Uganda to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Algerian Revolution.
The event honoured Algeria's historic struggle for independence and recognised the sacrifices made by its people in their fight for freedom and self-determination.
The commemoration also highlighted the strong friendship and diplomatic relations between Uganda and Algeria.
The occasion provided an opportunity to recognise the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries, particularly in trade, investment, education and other areas that benefit their people.
The event further reflected the shared interest of Uganda and Algeria in strengthening their relationship and promoting cooperation for mutual development.
