The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has begun a monitoring tour across Makindye Division to assess the ongoing voter register verification and registration exercise ahead of the upcoming Local Council (LC) and Women Council elections.
The tour started in Lubowa Village, Kibuli Parish, where Hajjat Namyalo encouraged residents to verify their voter information, stressing that an accurate voter register is essential for free, fair, and inclusive elections. She urged all eligible voters to complete the verification process before the exercise closes.
While addressing residents, Hajjat Namyalo encouraged the Bazzukulu to actively participate in the grassroots elections by electing leaders with integrity, commitment, and the ability to serve their communities effectively. She also called on voters to support National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidates, noting that their collaboration with the government helps improve service delivery and supports the implementation of development programmes.
The monitoring exercise will continue in other parts of Makindye Division as preparations for the elections move forward.
